Raffia Edition
The natural fiber is showcased in a new line crafted in Madagascar. On the island, raffia made from palm leaves is central to local culture. This ancestral skill is safeguarded by craftsmen and women who have passed down their knowledge for generations.
For the first time, three Polène models are adorned with this organic material, which is as supple as it is resilient. Somewhere between sculpted tote and basket, the Cyme and Cyme Mini are dressed in raffia through a unique combination of crochet stitches. For the Numéro Dix, the rice stitch technique is used for the half-moons, also crocheted in raffia. On all bags, leather and raffia are joined by hand-embroidered stitches, symbolizing the harmonious balance between these materials.
